Elementalism is Ronan Harvey — mercurial beat smith, DJ, music producer, and lyricist, integrating global voices into his evolving musical journey. With over 25 years navigating sound, image, and multimedia, his path runs from raves in fields in Wales to the jungles of Costa Rica, touching the dance floors of California, Berlin, and beyond.

 

His music blends global bass, ethereal vocals, and primordial evolving bass, creating immersive four-deck journeys layered with field recordings, samples, and original production. Elementalism flows through percussion-infused Latin multidimensional sounds, psychedelic cumbia, ethereal vocals over ratchet West Coast bass, tribal trap, and future bass — weaving ancient future rhythms infused with world frequencies, plant bass, and healing vibrations to manifest movement and ecstatic dance.

 

A trained percussionist and bassist, his roots run through funk bands, sharp lyricism, and live MCing — alongside DJing and producing events. Touring India in his teens as part of a cultural exchange program shaped his global perspective, which he’s deepened through years playing at intimate shows, cross-genre nights, off-grid parties, retreat centers, healing projects, and festival stages.

 

Movement is central — a bridge to beyond the beyond, where styles merge into fresh fusions of expansive audio designed to spark connection and flow.

 

Photography — humans and nature intertwined. Videos of wild nature and rivers, all of these things weave elements throughout.

 

With over 15 years teaching experience, he’s mentored across music production, DJing, filmmaking, art, and English — working in alternative education settings and running immersive global courses and workshops.

 

Based long-term in Costa Rica, he’s deeply involved in community projects, wellness retreats, and movement-led gatherings where music, food, and visuals create full-bodied experiences.

 

He’s collaborated and shared stages with artists like CloZee, Random Rab, and Nicola Cruz, and taught alongside Beats, Anique Atayya, Mose, bosque sound and Aliza Rivka (Mariposa Movement).
